How quickly do you respond to enquiries?
I normally respond to voice-over enquiries within 24 hours and often much sooner during the working week you can use the contact Eric email above.
Can you do Audio Editing?
Yes from doing voice-over and building a studio it became necessary to become skilled in this area. I am a fan of Audacity and open source.
What file formats can you provide?
Standard is WAV and MP3 files but whatever is required really, depending on your project requirements.
What types of voice-over projects do you work on?
I regularly work on commercials, corporate narration, e-learning, documentaries, IVR and telephone systems, podcasts, explainers, AI evaluation projects and other forms of spoken-word audio.
Do you provide a British English voice-over?
Yes. I am a native-born UK English speaker with a clear, neutral delivery that is suitable for a wide range of projects and audiences. Because of my upbringing I can do RP (received pronounciation) and the Yorkshire regional accent.
Can you provide custom auditions?
In many cases, yes. If you have a script available, I may be able to provide a short custom sample to help determine whether my voice is suitable for your project.
How quickly can a project be completed?
Turnaround times vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. Smaller jobs can often be completed within 24 hours, while larger projects may require additional scheduling.
Can you provide different styles of delivery?
Yes. Depending on the project, I can provide conversational, informative, professional, authoritative, warm, character-based or documentary-style reads. I have a broad vocal range and can do mature males, teen males, old women and trans.
What information should I include when making an enquiry?
If possible, include the script length, intended use, preferred delivery style, deadline and any technical requirements. A client may need a certain encoded and bit rate for example 44100 Hz , Signed16 Bit PCM. This helps me provide an accurate quote and timeframe.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. Remote voice-over work allows me to collaborate with clients throughout the UK and internationally. I have worked with clients from all over the world. For example clients in India, China and the USA.
Can revisions be requested?
Reasonable revisions are normally included. If substantial script changes occur after recording, additional charges may apply depending on the scope of the changes.
What audio formats can you supply?
Projects can typically be delivered as WAV or MP3 files, with sample rates and technical specifications adjusted to suit client requirements. My top priority is a happy client.
Do you record in a professional studio?
All recordings are produced in a dedicated treated recording space designed to minimise unwanted room reflections and background noise. I record in a room that is 99% treated with acoustic tiles – walls and ceiling, and thick carpeting below. I have enclosed a photo. This greatly reduces reverberation and ensures clean, professional audio.
What is your natural accent ?
It can vary between RP (recieved pronounciation) and Yorkshire because of my upbringing.
Do you do conversation projects?
Yes, when suitable collaborators are available locally.
